Georgians Protest Gun Bill

A group called ProtestEasyGuns.com gathered at Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2008 to protest proposed gun legislation currently moving through the state’s General Assembly. The Mike and Jeri Bishop’s son, Jamie Bishop, a German professor at Virginia Tech, was killed in the shooting rampage at the university on April 16, 2007. The rally seeks to have sensible laws passed to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t own them.
