Army Reserve competes in 2010 Army Best Warrior Competition
I photographed two Army Reserve Soldiers competing in the 2010 Department of the Army Best Warrior Competition at Fort Lee, Va.
The Best Warrior competition pits 24 of the Army’s finest (12 NCOs and 12 junior enlisted Soldiers) from the major commands to determine the top NCO and Soldier of the Year for the entire U.S. Army.
Reflection
Reflections are all around us, no matter where you look. But the most important reflection is the one within each of us.

To be recognized by your peers and placed into the ranks of the previous Thomas Jefferson winners is very humbling.

It was [...]
Camera Tossing? You bet!
OK, I know what you’re thinking!
‘Does he really TOSS his camera into the air?’
Yes I do, albeit not on a regular basis. But I have, on occasion, let my Nikon D70 slip the surly bonds of gravity for a brief instant while taking a slow shutter speed photograph.
In Silent Watch
There is probably no more hallowed ground than Arlington National Cemetery. The grounds evoke a sense of peace in stark contrast to the ultimate sacrifice of the many who lie there in silent watch.
Star Power
One thing is for sure – it is not uncommon to spot a celebrity in Atlanta. Celebrities from movies, television and sports often make stops in town throughout the year.
Here are just a few that have come through Atlanta the past couple of years.
